Farm-to-Fork Festival 2023: Everything else you need to know

The beloved Farm-to-Fork street festival is back in Sacramento this year, bringing together people to enjoy locally sourced food and beverages in the capital city of California.

The 2023 Farm-to-Fork Festival is happening on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22-23.

WHEN IS THE FESTIVAL HAPPENING?

The festival takes place on Friday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The festival is located along Capitol Mall in downtown Sacramento, with entrances at Fourth and N streets, Fifth and L streets, and Seventh Street and Capitol Mall.

WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL HAPPENING?

Parking garages nearby are available if you're driving, a bike valet service is free, and there's also complimentary transit service to the festival with a flyer.

HOW DO I GET THERE?

Yes, Capitol Mall from Third to Eighth streets will be closed. Sacramento police state that road closures commence early Friday morning and are anticipated to reopen around 2 a.m. on Sunday.

ARE THERE ANY ROAD CLOSURES?

Admission to the festival is free. There are two special events with ticketed entry: "The Grand Tasting" on Friday for $125 per person and "Farm x Fire x Fork with Tyler Florence" on Saturday for $150.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO GET IN?

The festival will feature a diverse selection of food vendors, offering everything from BBQ and Mexican cuisine to delectable treats from various bakeries.

WHAT KIND OF FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE?

Festival attendees can enjoy a variety of food vendors, wines from local wineries, and cocktails at the Sky River Casino Bar.

WHAT KIND OF DRINKS WILL BE AVAILABLE?

The festival's headliners for this year include Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Michael Franti & Spearhead, and Cannons.
